Welcome to Sucrerie Alary!

The 2026 season is finished! See you in 2027 for our 50th!

Sucrerie Alary is a sugar shack that does not serve meals, located near Gatineau and Ottawa, at the foot of the Gatineau Park.

With its "terroir" and exceptional micro-climate, it is the perfect place to buy your locally produced maple syrup while enjoying nature awakening. 

Sucrerie Alary does not have any entry fees and offers access to groomed trails, modern facilities, children’s play structures, and an outdoor fire pit. Walking in the forest is welcome and leashed dogs are permitted.

Taffy on snow is served Saturdays and Sundays from 11 AM to 3 PM.

Our story

Since our very first maple harvest in 1977, the Alary family has welcomed maple syrup enthusiasts, as well as curious visitors eager to discover the world of maple.

Nearly 50 years later, that warm, family-friendly atmosphere remains at the heart of our sugar shack. Today, the third generation of maple producers is at the helm, proud to carry on a family tradition while preserving the charm and authenticity that are part of our history.
